The concept behind this collection grew out of some surprising discoveries made about the Scottish side of my family history. Many of the fourteen pieces in this collection have a personal resonance (relating to this research) and these are mixed with ‘picture postcards’ of fondly remembered Scottish holidays visiting grand parents in South Queensferry, or exploring other, more remote, parts of the country.

Most of the pieces in this album were composed during the first half of 2020 and recorded during the months of ‘lockdown’.
